Our UHF TV ANTENNA KIT allows you to build a high gain YAGI antenna for reception of a single broadcast television channel ranging between 14 and 70 (470 - 812 MHz).  This antenna kit provides great performance because you build it exactly for the single TV channel you want to receive... perfect for temporary reception of a special event or show, and ideal for apartments, vacation spots, country homes, etc. The antenna kit includes a ruled wooden mast, solid brass antenna elements, 12 foot RG-6 coaxial cable (with F connector) and easy-to-follow instructions. Assembly of this kit requires measuring, drilling, wire cutting and wire bending. Although intended for indoor and fair weather use, the instructions also describe how to substitute PVC pipe to build an outdoor version.  This antenna can be used for radio astronomy projects by building it for channel 37, as described in our Radio Telescope Page. Free shipping by Priority Mail is included in the USA. Please Note: TV Reception is very difficult to predict.  The best results are obtained for stations within 50 miles.  Working from an elevated location with a clear view towards the station will improve reception significantly.
