Our TELESCOPE EYEPIECE EXPERIMENTER KIT makes it quick and easy to build a symmetrical Ramsden telescope eyepiece and to explore other eyepiece designs. This Experimenter Kit contains everything you need to get started: an Eyepiece Body, Assorted Lenses, Mounting Washers and Instructions. The 1.25" Eyepiece Body is carefully machined from black Delrin plastic. The Mounting Washers are a flexible and reusable system for mounting lenses inside the Eyepiece Body. This system allows you to easily mount and space lenses for experimenting. The Lens Assortment includes 2 plano-convex lenses for building a 37 mm FL symmetrical Ramsden eyepiece.  Also included is a packet of 10 surplus lenses (contents vary), and an optical magnifier optic that can also be mounted and used as an eyepiece.  The instructions get you started, and include a detailed resource list of design information and part sources for more complex eyepiece designs.
